Tsuneta(Univ. of Tokyo),Y. Ogawara(ISAS), L. Acton(LPARL) Motivation: The SXT showes many examples of global changes of magnetic field structure (restructuring) and its activation (heating). These phenomena are sometimes associated with the disappearance of H-alpha prominences. Thus, it is important to compare soft X-ray images with H-alpha images to obtain global picture of magnetic evolution. Because individual events are sometimes very complex in X-ray images, we try to survey as many events as possible to find the common physics. Data and Method: We surveyed prominence eruptions in BBSO H-alpha images from October 19, 1991 through June 1, 1992 (about 30 events). Then, we trace these phenomena by compering H-alpha images and SXT-FFI images. Prior to some events, the H-alpha prominence can be traced as dark "lane" in the X-ray coronal structure. Then the appearance of a bright thin long "line" along the H-alpha prominence is followed by the formation of arcades of "loops" or cusps. The good example is the event that occurred on February 21, 1992. A long bright line as thin as one SXT half resolution pixel (about 5 arcsec) appeared in the X-ray image nearly the location of H-alpha prominence. The length of the X-ray thin line is about 100 arcsec, and the aspect ratio is about 20. <> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Date Time Place Rank Evolution Lane > Line > Loop 1991 10/21 08-21 NE ?
