#This is a list of events, based on Ulysses, geomagnetic Kp values, and large frontside solar #arcades. We then cross-correlate with the other sources, so there are some events, which would not #have been included on their own, that are listed because they may relate to another observation. #Primarily large polar arcades, well centered. Also listed are other well centered good sized #arcades. Otherwise most listed events are from working backwards from the Geomagnetic and Ulysses #cases. #The geomagnetic events listed where taken from the Planetary 3hr Kp indices from the University #of Gottingen listed Solar Geophysical Data. The peak 3hr Kp magnitude is noted as are sudden #commencements (SC). At this stage all events with a peak magnitude of 6+ or greater are noted. #The exception is that *all* SCs are listed even if the Kp peak was less than 6+. When there is #an extended period of disturbances over several days or more these are often listed together. #Ulysses events listed are ones found in the liturature as high latitude counter-streaming events #which showed at least some signs of being related to CMEs. Note is made in the cases where paired #foward and reverse shocks were seen.
