This is a list of events for Karen Harvey, based originally on the list she sent me. I have checked through the Lockheed movie and made comments on what SXT saw for each event. Sept. 26, 1991: We have limited SXT data for this event, with several images from the 25th [e.g. 14:10UT, 19:10UT], before the event, and a couple on the 26th [13:06 & 14:45] showing the newly formed arcade. It is interesting that there seem to be high arched loops along the line of the DF, an unusual configuration. Sept. 28, 1991: Good SXT coverage of this event. Not extensive, but we have data from before the event (~9:00UT) until well into it (~15:30). Only on image the day before, and none the day after. See McAllister et al. PASJ,44,5,1992. Due out soon. Oct. 17, 1991: This event is before the start of the Lockheed movie, so I'm not sure what SXT got on this yet. Nov. 6, 1991: There is a very large arcade horizontally across the southern hemisphere, which I assume is the relevant SXT structure. Nov. 12, 1991: There is a very large arcade that appears across the northern hemisphere, reaching nearly to the pole. There is some, though not great SXT data. See Tsuneta et al. PASJ,44,5. Due out soon. Jan. 19, 1992: There are two SXT features/events that are in the general region and time frame you indicate. One is a large arcade angling up towards the NE limb at a fairly steep angle to the equator. This exihibts an interesting helmet structure that seems to move down the aracade, rotating somewhat as it appears to move forwards. There is also a smaller arcade near the base of the large one, aligned east-west (prepedicularly). I suspect that this is what you are seeing, as it is considereably more compact and brighter. Feb. 21, 1992: Beautiful T & A event, also S to arcade type. Long thin axial loop seems to trigger in the middle, and blows followed by an arcade. DB. Feb. 22, 1992: There is a large scale coronal restructuring visable in the SXT images. It lies over the western equator and starts at about 00:00UT on the 22nd. April 4, 1992: There is a small arcade with a helmet structure. The later is bent ovwer with its top connecting into larger loops. The onset of the SXT brightening is ~2:00UT - 4:00UT. May 7, 1992: This is the event we refer to as the Ebi-Ten (shrimp tempera) event. There is SXT data leading upto and following the formation of a large bright arcade, but a gap right when it occurs. The arcade tapers towards the limb, growing narrower and lower, ending in a sort of forked tail. Various people are interested in this one, including Ta. Watanabe from STE. My fellow post doc J. Khan is working on the SXT analysis. June 1, 1992: There is pretty good SXT data for this one, though I am still working up the preliminary analysis. It is interesting as the brightening can be clearly seen to start at the noprthern end and extend south along the line of the DF. The amount of brightening seems low. I feel that this one has some strong similarities to the Sept. 28 1991 event, though some differences as well. I am also very interested to see your data for this one. July 16, 1992: There is a large arcade above an active region. July 20, 1992: An Ebi-ten (May 7) like arcade appears in the north, ~12:00UT on. This seems related to a proceeding large scale restructuring even farther north. No flare. Tail? Now follow various events that I can see in the SXT movie that seem similar to the ones you have mentioned. You may want to check your data for these, though I don't have real confidence yet in my judgement about what is likely to show up, or not. *Apr. 23, 1992. NW. Nov. 12-like restructuring, with dissappearence of one of two DFs. Refer also Sept. 25-26, 1991 event.
